The world of blogging is completely foreign to me. Not quite sure where or how to begin but I trust that GOD will give me the insight. LORD, please send your HOLY SPIRIT to assist me with this new adventure. Let my hands and mind be lead by your sweet wisdom and grace to eloquently describe each amazing event that I participate in. Thank you for your blessings. AMEN

“Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Psalms 37:4

I’ve heard that GOD knows the desires of your heart-sometimes before you even know yourself. GOD works in amazing ways. This was proven to me in the form of Craigslist. I responded to an ad back in February that was looking for a coordinator to make sure the day ran smoothly. Within hours, I was contacted and was brought on to assist with Shannon and Andreas’s big day.Never in my wildest imagination would I know the plans that GOD had in store for me when I took this job.

Over the several months of planning, we would keep in touch via email but we both led very busy separate lives apart from the wedding. I was working full time as an event manager and Shannon and Andreas were busy finishing up school and closing escrow on their new house that they just purchased.
Just weeks before their wedding, my heart was led to leave my position as an event planner at the venue I had worked at for the past one and a half years and start my own independent company.

I believe the LORD blessed me with this coordinating opportunity back in February to prepare me for my new business that I was to start up. Never would I have thought to leave a job that had it all- great salary, bonuses, benefits, etc…. to walk into the unknown. At the end of the night Andreas pulled me aside to thank me and tell me that He and Shannon thought that they would not really need to have a coordinator, but were grateful that they had a change of mind and brought me on board. He even proposed possible future business and recommendations for me!

The wedding held at the beautiful venue, Flying Caballos, turned out to be a huge success. The delicious six course meal and dessert was catered by Mama’s Meatballs. Music was provided by Music by Bonnie & Co and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. The couple hired Stacey Millett Photography to capture the sweetness of the day and as a special treat and favor to their guests, Shannon and Andreas brought in Events Photobooth SB so each guest could have a picture to take with them to remember the wonderful event.

Thank you Shannon & Andreas for allowing me to help with your special day and being my 1st JOYFULLY JOINED clients! You both will always have a special place in my heart.
